As a minor example of pitfalls here, I posted a thread about Halloween candy earlier. People replied using the word “suckers” because they were literally talking about lollipops. That wasn’t rude. It wasn’t even off topic! Those replies got automatically hidden. Why can’t I choose to unhide them?
