The article digs in even further in it's summary of Jan 6. The "hard right" and "hard left" (lol) of the States disagree as to Trump's role of inciting violence in the capital, but then the rioters are discussed like some third party, as if they are not made up of that same "hard right."

It's on the reader to decide whether "both" sides are culpable in fomenting violence, as if one set of remarks isn't /literally/ demonstrating that. It would be good if the ABC was a little clearer on that.

Thank you for parsing this. It remains frustrating that people are still so enamoured with the idea of a one and done injectable prevention dose, rather than the more realistic behavioural and social changes needed to eradicate a disease.
