Voyage of the Mimi feels like a fever dream. I think we watched it in science class. I just remember it was about a boat. I think every millennial has seen every episode of Bill Nye at least 457 times. His passion and energy for science and teaching really hasn't been matched. "Science Rules!"

Some more exploration of Sid's tattoos. I have a general idea but nothing really set in stone. The tatt's on his head and arms are pretty consistent tho I don't think I've posted my character Juan that much. He's a cop and it's ok to Hate him. The "main" four (I have some other characters in the universe but not as fleshed out as these guys) Inspired by Barnett Newman's "Who's afraid of Red Yellow and Blue" This would be "Who's afraid of CMYK" I found a tutorial on bubbles/water and decided to throw Pynk in the mix

Moving onto a new story idea for Pynk. I had a partner who inspired this other OC known for a while as "The Gold King". He's a fun concept but kinda dropped him after we broke up lmao. Still kinda like the idea, and I kinda made him my own anyway.

Pynk and GK (I also named him Aesop eventually) Were supposed to be dimension traveling assassins. It was going to be an "unlikely partners" story In this arc, instead of being friends with Sid, they were being hunted by him. Their goal was to collect bounties, and having lots of sex, while avoiding the authorities. They would go from enemies to friends to enemies to friends to........ etc I love that Pynk is a short king.

Sid hasn't changed much since his first humanoid conception. I've had to work on the body tattoos a bit, and he doesn't (presumably) have any ethereal powers anymore.

Inside of the Universe of Pynk I slowly started to incorporate a new character. Here are some of my first sketches of Sky. She continues to be a bilateral amputee to this day.
When the story was about grim reapers, Sky could remove her hand prosthetics to create a blood sythe Her attitude was supposed to be very proper and to the book so to speak, so very contrasting to Pynk's character Pynk sitting on a tentacle, Sky just standing there. I'm so creative lol

So, why is Pynk? Pynk was created during a time when I was at a rock bottom. I was suffering from incredible loss, drug addiction, mental health struggle, and sexual violence. I thought if I can pour those experiences into my art then something good might come out of it.

Don't loose your head there Sid! I'm not really a furry artist, but I took a lot of inspiration from furry artists drawing crazy gore. I like the idea of different colored blood and insides, and have actually kept that theme a bit into my modern IP I donno, I guess I was trying to draw something badass here. You can't really kill a god. I can't remember if Pynk and Sid are both stabbed or if Pynk was trying to slice up Sid... Doesn't really matter right now. Smothered by skelly demons
