The insomnia got so bad last night that I fucking hallucinated for the first time in my life, and it was honestly terrifying 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Student A: why are you saying “them” about your fiance?
Me: oh because they use they/them pronouns
Student B: so your fiance is non-binary?
Me: yup!
Student B: so they don’t have a gender?
Me: in their specific case, yes. I care more about who a person is than their gender

A realization I had recently:
While I am *very* anxious/nervous/scared for the future, I also recognize that I am feeling really good these days.
Work life, home life, and social life are all feeling so, so good these days, and it’s really making a difference in the day-to-day 💖

I couldn’t bring myself to deactivate my twitter account. I’m a sentimental fool, and after 15 years of using it (including first talking to Viv on there), the emotional attachment is too strong.
That said, I’ve locked it up and removed it from my phone. It’s the most I can do for now.

I’ve lived in my current Manhattan apartment for over 9 years. We only JUST got a neighborhood bagel place a year or so ago.

Being able to go out on a weekend morning for fresh bagels is a luxury I’m so grateful to have.
