Had to make this

I compiled a word cloud out of all my notes, slides and worksheets from university (CS 2006-2012 in Munich). The most frequent word: "example" 🤯 - runner up: "data"

The only programming language showing up is Java, but functions and graphs were seemingly more important than objects and classes 😅

Claude itself seems to be a little confused about the cutoff date, but can at least reflect the gravity of the situation. Both seem to have outdated system prompts, but the facts can't lie.

Conclusion: Be careful out there when you run Github Copilot. You might not get what you're paying for.

It gets weirder every minute.

Zed, pretending to have a knowledge cutoff date of April 2024, can tell me facts that happened in December.

Copilot gives me a cutoff date of October 2023 but has no knowledge of the same fact.

Both pretend to run Claude Sonnet 4.5 which should cutoff April 2025.

After enabling Claude Sonnet 4.5 on Github, this is what I get. It still says it's running 3.5(v2).

Our Premium Requests are at 3.3% - so it's definitely not a problem on my side. Is @github.com cheating on us?

At least that would explain the very inconsistent experience I had so far with it.

Claude Sonnet 4.5 was recently released for #Github #Copilot. Yesterday, I tried to find out which version I was actually running, before evaluating the new version. It only said "Claude Sonnet 4", so I asked the agent. This is what I got as a response:

You can tell that @frame.work devices are crafted with passion. The memory cover has a magnetic retainer, so it stays in place while you install the module. Lovely 🧲💕
