Patient came in with sore throat. While waiting for rapid Strep test result we glanced back at the Covid-19 RAT result: positive. Reminder that masking in health care makes sense, if you don’t want everyone in your waiting room to go home sick, your staff to get sick, and physicians to get sick.

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

On the My Health Alberta site, the $100 for phase 2 of the Covid vaccine is listed "administrative fee." Would anyone be able to even submit the cost to their health insurance plan, with it labeled as an admin fee? 🤔 Might be better to go through your pharmacy. I did and my plan covered it.

1) You can get it at a pharmacy carrying the vaccine now. It costs more ($150), but your health plan may cover it. Ask the pharmacy to run it through to check. /1

Found out from a #yeg pharmacy that they no longer receive #Covid vaccine stock from the #Alberta govt as they had since 2020. Pharmacies order their own stock now. I'm thinking this may be a way for #ableg to make it look like demand is down since they would not be tracking pharmacy demand?
