Conan, he’s so hot right now!
Love how Zub is weaving a tale across time periods, all featuring characters created by Robert E. Howard. The main series, Battle of the Black Stone, and Savage Sword (seriously, grab #11 for Liam Sharp’s story!!), and now Scourge of the Serpent is also so, so choice 🐍🔥

Until December 1st, the first issue of Big Shoulders is available to read digitally here (but only for the next week, after which it will be limited to a preview). Dive in!

2024 will be a pivot point for assessing all art available digitally. Any art that was released that year or later will (and should) be met with skepticism until its method of creation is verified. As such, @scott1gray.bsky.social and I made something immensely clear on the opening page of our book

Warrior Con was incredible. There’s nothing that revs the creative engine more than a great small convention scene. I even got to hang with these two lil’ creatives!

My buddy Jed helped man the Big Shoulders Booth at Baltimore Comic Con this weekend. The dude even single-handily sold a few books. Everyone ought to have a 'Jed'!

Reclaiming this one. USE IT. Because folks who have used it most in recent years have been painfully quiet. They need it thrown at ‘em so they’re forced to reconcile their relationship with it. Some of ‘em will come around. But they gotta be forced to reconcile and then they gotta stop being quiet.

Love this page by @scott1gray.bsky.social It spotlights the professionals who dedicate their career to listening to (and helping to lift) those in need. The moment features a School Psychologist who puts the work in, and it takes place within ‘Zoo Lights’ at the Lincoln Park Zoo here in Chicago

It also features 'Broken Oar', a young band securing their first gig, all while drummer Spiff Plunkett is drawing on some seriously dangerous performance-enhancing mojo from realms beyond. Will the 'BO Boys' be able get their act together, or will the entire city have hell to pay for their debut?!
