TTYD does parries perfectly, imo. A 3 (or 2) frame window as an all or nothing.
A bad example is BOTW or TOTK. To start, you already have your shield out. If you screw up, it'll already protect you. Then, you get a wide window to dodge where you can shred grounded bosses to hell with minimal prep.
