Most of the bigotry was that people literally just didn’t see me as NB till later in my transition. Like I said, they saw me as a man wearing a dress, rather than feminine.

I’m not going to speak to “passing,” because that’s a whole different ball of wax. But prior to starting HRT, I certainly was consistently read as a cis man. If I wore a dress, it was read as alt fashion more often than gender fuckery.
