damn i love when a party's official position is that i shouldnt exist. really fun to run through my mind over and over again that large swathes of society want me dead just for being myself. making tens or hundreds of thousands of people feel miserable and unsafe for no reason at all is great policy

Over my 7 or 8 years of GMing Pathfinder 1&2 and Starfinder 1 and now 2, this single three-level module represents over 80% of the character kills I've inflicted alone.

Concepting some relatively basic specific weapons for starfinder 2, Including rules for specialised weapons (basically the same as pathfinder 2 specific weapons).
Specialised Weapons These weapons have particularly unusual combinations of traits or special effects that prevent them from being considered standard weapons. Specialised weapons are considered to have a base weapon grade, granting the tracking trait and additional damage dice much like standard weapons of that grade. The price of the base grade is included in the price. You can upgrade a specialised weapon to a higher grade just as you would any other weapon, and the weapon’s item level is increased to match the item level of a standard weapon of that grade. Specialised weapons do not have upgrade slots unless otherwise stated, and do not gain additional upgrade slots based on their weapon grade. Some specialised weapons have integrated weapon upgrades, which cannot be removed from the weapon, but can be upgraded to a higher grade as you would for a standard weapon upgrade. The weapon stat blocks use the same entries as the weapon tables in the weapons section. Starfinder 2e Stat Block Divine Blaster — Item 5 Traits: Automatic, Divine, Sanctified, Tech Price: 1500 credits; Base Grade: Advanced Damage: 1d8 spirit; Bulk: 2 Hands 2; Range Increment 40 ft. Reload: 1; Magazine: 10 charges; Expend: 1 Category: martial; Group: Laser These automatic rifles fire blasts of divine energy, and are used by some religious organisations in battles against celestial or fiendish foes (depending on the religion). Attacks with a divine blaster have the sanctified trait, and thus inherent your holy or unholy trait if you have one. Imbue Weapon [A] (concentrate, manipulate) Frequency: once per day; Requirements: You have neither the holy nor unholy traits; Effect: You temporarily sanctify the divine blaster using the latent divine power in the weapon. The weapon gains your choice of the holy or unholy trait for 1 minute. You cannot choose the other option for 1 week after using this ability. Starfinder 2e Stat Block Bloodshard Cannon — Item 11 Traits: Automatic, Boost 1d4 (Kickback), Critical (dart), Magical, Tech Price: 13500 credits; Base Grade: Superior Damage: 1d10 P; Bulk: 2 Hands: 2; Range Increment: 40 ft. Reload: 1; Magazine: 10 blood (see text); Expend: 1 Category: martial; Group: Projectile Bloodshard cannons drain the user’s blood and solidify it to be fired as ammunition either as slim shards or a heavy spike. These weapons come with an integrated commercial fear projector. A bloodshard cannon cannot be reloaded normally. Instead, if you are wielding this weapon at the end of your turn, so long as you have blood and aren’t immune to bleed, you automatically take damage equal to the missing ammunition times the number of weapon damage dice, and the weapon’s magazine is fully refilled. This damage can reduce you to 0 HP and cannot be mitigated in any way. Auto-Fire attacks with this weapon are not affected by the boost trait.
