We swear we had a good reason for the delay! You can read about it in our Letter from the Editor. Murphy's Law and all of that.

We are so incredibly proud of the incredible work published in our Inaugural Run! Featuring the work of five brilliant authors, the Run holds true to ivy.'s mission to spread positive, speculative fiction to everyone.

We'll feature each story here in its own time. But! They are all live now!

Ok, we lied. We're also 100% against the use of AI in writing. ChatGPT is not part of the optimistic future we're imagining. Humans got us into this mess, and humans are going to get us out. AI can be in the stories, but you, the writer, need to be the one that tells it.

We want to share positive, optimistic stories. There's a lot of dystopia out there (like... everywhere). But we know things can be better. They MUST be better. So, let's imagine a future where things ARE better.

That is our only requirement. Really.

ivy. is meant to share stories that grow on you. The ones that are short, sweet, and to the point, but that leave a lasting impression.

We're keeping it short - 400 words or less. We want these to be shareable, because the more people that read your work, the better.
