Not worth it at all. Honestly I wish they personalized those events to where a person is at in the story. It'd be a shame to speedrun so much only to have no idea what's going on at the end of it.

Dude, I feel this. I so badly want to like HSR, but the combat is so bad! Only having option 1, option 2, and sometimes option 3 is so boring. It's hard to be creative with that in a turn based game. I find it telling that they felt that an auto button was required.

Take your time, it's not going anywhere. The only things that are time limited are events and banners.

Thankfully you won't have to wait long to meet these 2, they're the main characters of the first arc - Trails in the Sky. A remake of the first game is coming out soon, but the OG one on steam still holds up and is quite charming.

Say a spell requires 5 wind value and 2 fire value. You would put a gem worth 3 wind and 2 fire on the blue line with another gem worth 2 wind. You can check what spell requires what elemental values in the handbook.

The game sucks at explaining it, sadly. So I'll try to instead: Each character has a unique circuit, with different lines. Each gem that goes into said circuit has a different elemental value. You add up the elemental values of the gems on the same line to unlock spells.
