PhD Student in @burcu_ayoglu's and @Prof_Lundberg's lab at @KTHuniversity @scilifelab | applying #spatial #proteomics 🔬to study the #brain 🧠
Last week, I had a great time at the 2nd #ESSB Spatial Biology Conference at #EMBL.

It was inspiring to hear about all the different applications of spatial biology, discover new tools and approaches, and present a poster with my projects exploring Lewy body diseases using spatial proteomics. 🔬🧠

Is it a Pollock's painting?
Nope, it's human cortex stained for MAP2 in 🔴 (found mostly in dendrites), NEFL in ⚪️ (major component of axoskeleton), NeuN / RBFOX3 in 🟡 (marker of post-mitotic neurons) and a nuclear stain in 🔵.
