Grateful to present our work on glycosylation and Na,K-ATPase clustering at #APS2025 in Baltimore. Great first conference as a PhD student—and a post-conference visit to Macalester made it even more special, four years after graduating!

Last week, I had a great time at the 2nd #ESSB Spatial Biology Conference at #EMBL.

It was inspiring to hear about all the different applications of spatial biology, discover new tools and approaches, and present a poster with my projects exploring Lewy body diseases using spatial proteomics. 🔬🧠

Is it a Pollock's painting?
Nope, it's human cortex stained for MAP2 in 🔴 (found mostly in dendrites), NEFL in ⚪️ (major component of axoskeleton), NeuN / RBFOX3 in 🟡 (marker of post-mitotic neurons) and a nuclear stain in 🔵.

Do people realize how bad this is? While we are still trying to figure it out #COVID and with #H5N1 coming. He will decimate infectious disease research. For established scientists, it will be hard. For early career scientists like me (also an immigrant) it will be impossible to continue working.
