2025 has been difficult, and my mom has been saying she doesn't really feel the Christmas spirit. She's at dialysis now, and I've just set up this tree (and this fun little bird that was an impulse buy) so it'll be lit when she gets home. I hope it helps. 🎄

Between caregiving responsibilities and the government shutdown, I miraculously pulled off going to a friends trip this weekend, and I'm here to say that The Naked Gun and Karate Kid: Legends are both pretty good plane movies.

"Celebrated" the first day of the off-season by watching Who Killed the Montreal Expos. Recommended!
In different baseball news, you should definitely watch the new Netflix documentary “Who Killed The Montreal Expos.” Warning, it might be a hard/emotional watch. I was an Expos fan even before I was a Jays fan growing up, and I never forgave MLB for the 1994 Strike, or various villains for the move.
