Colossal nerd. VHS junkie. Sifts through trash looking for treasures. Way too nostalgic.
few cheap smalls (and a kick-ass cassette) that i found at the thrift.

not sure these were worth braving the below freezing temps for.
November 23, 2025 at 2:24 PM

November 20, 2025 at 5:58 PM
finalizing my set-up (between two tables) at the big show. fingers crossed that i blow out a lot of this!
November 16, 2025 at 1:59 PM
yesterday’s Savers stack.

(hitting it again before work today, ‘cause i was in a rush and -know- i missed some good stuff.)

Mego is one of the toy-lines i know very little about. anyone know who these guys are supposed to be?
November 12, 2025 at 6:03 PM
already started prepping for a bigger show on Sunday.

i’m really hoping to blow out a ton of stuff that i’ve been sitting on for a while. but also adding some things i wasn’t planning on getting rid of!

tryin’ to lighten my load by selling on a Sunday morning.
November 9, 2025 at 1:33 PM
it was a good day for vintage horror and sci-fi paperbacks at Savers.
November 7, 2025 at 3:17 AM
i bought this random lot of ‘80s space toys on eBay a couple weeks ago, and finally opened the package.
November 3, 2025 at 4:33 PM
eating homemade pumpkin pie and watching…
October 29, 2025 at 12:26 AM
time for my favorite annual tradition. so geared up for twelve-hours of cinematic mayhem.
October 26, 2025 at 3:16 AM
brisk autumn mornings are perfect for setting up to sell.
October 25, 2025 at 12:42 PM
yes, i am a sucker for ‘70s creature-features, but this one hit harder than most.

i really, really dug it.
October 17, 2025 at 12:58 PM
haven’t seen this one since it first came out back in ‘08.

i bought this particular copy from the same place i originally rented it (Hollywood Video) when they went out of business.
October 15, 2025 at 11:17 PM
oops i did it again
October 12, 2025 at 12:34 PM
this was a surprisingly fun double-feature.

(also, i can’t believe it had been ten years since the last time i watched The Gate!)

there’s a Halloween children’s book that my sister and i had as kids (so, from the 80s) that i’ve been trying to find for decades

all that i remember about it is there’s a group of kids trick-or-treating that run into a bunch of different monsters who end up trick-or-treating with them…
October 9, 2025 at 8:18 PM
up early on my day off and watching the 2001 “remake” of How to Make a Monster.
October 6, 2025 at 11:37 AM
i got a dish of pumpkin and Oreo ice cream, and a first-time watch of 1408.

it’s much needed after an eleven-hour workday.
October 6, 2025 at 12:54 AM
i’ve watched as many movies in the last four days as i did in the entirety of August and September.

it’s a pretty clear indication of how bad off i’ve been for a while now.

the last three months have been a real struggle and i’m hoping for better days ahead.
October 5, 2025 at 4:07 PM
i still (very) occasionally find something worthwhile on the grab-bag wall at Savers.
October 4, 2025 at 4:46 PM
planning on watching Beware of the Blob when i get home from work.

it’s a movie that totally freaked me out as a kid for just one scene, and i’m curious to see how that particular kindertrauma holds up.
