Going through Hard Mode on Final Fantasy VII Remake really has me appreciating just how much better Rebirth is as a game.
Didn't bother with HM runs for either when I played them initially, but ho boy does Remake have some PROBLEMS when it comes to bullshit and player frustration.

Guys, do not use the Discord Checkpoint thing (Discord's attempt at Spotify Wrapped).
It requires enabling them access to scrape your data, and has an alarming amount of private data being used for it.
Make sure you have these disabled.

it is completely possible to have a metaphor next to the real thing in fantasy. it's not "breaking" the metaphor. in fact, it often deepens it.
example:
discworld has metaphorical alcoholics (vampires) next to real alcoholics (sam vimes.) they don't like each other.
