They have been rounding us up bunches to sell us on our new compensation model. I was tired of hearing "you can get 200%!" repeatedly so I professionally unloaded on them within the first ten minutes of the meeting. That got the rest of the mob going and the next 90 minutes was "no answers".

"How often do you think about the Roman empire?"

A lot less than I think about the glory of Fudgie The Whale cake.

Share a '90s movie that you think deserves more love.

I think I will ask the kids to get me Scalped Omnibus Volume 1 and Lloyd Kauffman’s Make Your Own Damn Movie books for Christmas.

Scalped was excellent and a lot of themes were familiar from my reserve experience.

We are back on our streaming nonsense tongiht at 8pm EST with some Arc Raiders fun. Also, we will be playing "In It Or Not" with Dan Akroyd. I name 10 films. You have to figure out if Dan Akroyd was in them or not.

After watching “I Like Me”, I decided to watch a random Candy classic. “Canadian Bacon” still has a lot of jokes that make me chuckle and it is a fun watch.

You can always as The Retro Historian because my brain is obsessed with this stuff.

I managed to acquire a piece at a steal of a price for my collection last year from this show.

Don’t expected the artistry and richness of “Prey”. This is a simple, action/comedy that could have been a little shorter. It has a lot of late 90s easy viewing popcorn vibes. Go in with simple mindset and the film will be enjoyable.

It gets a 3 out of 4 from.

Spent the morning working on things to ease the workload on my team and am planning to take in Predator: Badlands this afternoon is all goes well.

Then, streaming more of Alien Isolation tonight to the joy of my audience and the misery of myself.

I try not to be negative about films I watch, but this film has no redeeming qualities.

Holy hell… I may give up trying modern indie horror after this.

The wife has asked for another Dave Mathews tonight and like the amazing husband I am, I have complied.

Holy hell, did I find a turkey! Dimension Films had to rush a Hellraiser film out the door just to keep the license. 3 weeks, $300K and one crew showing in a theatre later, the best thing about the film are the quotes from people disowning it.

Kill Me Again (2025) has a Groundhog Day type premise, but didn’t land for me. Too thin of an idea, stretched too long with a lot of bloated scenes that do not advance the film. The cast does well, but in the end this film fizzles with a rush led low impact ending.

Get in, loser. We are going back to get… a McRib.

You can try. :) I bought my shirt from a witch’s shop, which I was all too happy to support.

This is Bob. He was bought from the dollar store about 20 years ago. Every year, we say this is his last Halloween. Every year, he somehow makes his way back into the Halloween box to be brought out next year.
