I really love seeing what everyone has knit (and is knitting)! 😍

My box of sox, in 2021. It was 58 pairs, but I've since added 18 more. I could go 2+ months wearing a unique pair each day.😀But I have favorites. I don't have a problem, I just need a bigger box. 📦👍

My very first pair! Silver's Sock Class, Red Heart Kids on US 7, 2013.

My motivation to teach myself to knit, was specifically to knit socks! And, 12 years later I've knit ~125 pairs. It's my jam.

#showmeyourknits is #WIP week. I have 3 things on the needles but two are future gifts. So it's just this one to show... Belle Fille Hat by Espace Tricot. Yarn is KnitPicks Capra DK in Embers Heather.

Dramatically up your stripe game by using yarns that have long color changes (zauberball, chroma, mille colori, kroy FX, etc)!

You can even use just one colorway and work the stripes using opposite ends of the same ball.

No particular pattern was used for these, I've made so many charity hats that I can do it on auto-pilot. The striping technique is called helix stripes, and there are many various tutorials to be found via google &/or youtube.

Who remembers Felici SPORT? Discontinued about a dozen years ago. I find the fingering so-so, but miss the sport! Same goes for Stroll sport. ::sigh::

Here are 2 more pairs in blue for #showmeyourknits. Both are from Sock Madness. I'd never beaded or done intarsia before these, & haven't again since. I've also not participated in Sock Madness since the intarsia, a coincidence? (yeah it is, but... 😁) #knitsky #knitting Info in the ALT.

This week the #showmeyourknits theme is yellow. It's not a color I gravitate towards at all, but I did come across a few projects, at least partly yellow, when I scrounged backwards through time. Pattern names are included in the alt text. #knitting #knitsky

#showmeyourknits is cowls. Mira's Cowl by Baah Yarn is a repeat knit for me. It's an easy riff on ribbing, uses 100g of fingering or sock, and has a tidy classic look to it. Blocking the heck out of it is a good time, too. I always add an extra repeat (so, 240 sts). #knitting #knitsky
