I’ve been slacking on my Pekingese duties. Here’s the lady of the house. She has really come a long way from being rescued. She used to have these deep dark tear stains along the folds of her eyes. Now, she can smile without the tears.

LEGEND! I can honestly say this is one of the greatest musical artists and performance I’ve seen in my lifetime. Johnny Marr in Nashville at the Brooklyn Bowl on a Sunday night was a religious experience for any Alt/Goth/120Minutes fans.

On this day July 31st, 1997, I saw the 1997 #Lollapalooza lineup in Nashville, Tn at the Starwood Amphitheater. The lineup included #Failure, Julian/Damian Marley, Snoop Dog, #James, #Tricky, #Tool and #Prodigy. It was definitely a spacey lineup and was the last Lolla concert for a long time.

Happy 37th “Birthday” to one of my favorite albums. When this was released and the lead single “Birthday” hit the MTV airwaves it opened the world to Iceland and this collective of artists, which included Bjork. My fave single is still “Deus.” Is that longbox bringing back any memories for anyone?
