Pie #1 (of 3 for today) in the oven. This is a maple bourbon pecan, featuring Jim Beam bourbon and homemade vanilla extract. Also, you can’t do a pecan pie without Texas pecans!

May I present the Mayor of Austin, who is so unable to be held accountable for anything that he perpetually looks constipated.

So I’ve been friends with an ex for 15+ years, to the point where I’m an adopted member of the family.
I’m visiting the family for the weekend and I’ve been invited to watch them play Pickleball. I’m convinced the best part of this is the margaritas. 🤣

I’ve been very excited to try these bottles and they’re ready just in time for holiday baking. :)
