I think it’s about time we stood up and accepted that, while we may not have agreed with or even liked Charlie Kirk, he did discover electricity, medicine and the printing press and so we should be grateful.

You could argue that he’s doing amazingly at enriching the demographic he’s seeking to enrich.

Even if you don’t find this especially offensive (I don’t, personally), it’s astonishingly childish.

I’d be interested to know if the belief is that signal itself is vulnerable, or if it’s (incredibly) likely that the unhardened devices it’s being used on that are suspected vulnerable. Signal itself has always been held in very high esteem by the infosec community.

Right, but if you have reason to believe something is a likely source of malware, you don’t invite it in and assume you can deal with it - you stop its entry in the first place.

Step 1 of dealing with malware is reducing the number of ways it can get inside in the first place.
