Rewatched Pig in the City with people who hadn’t seen the first movie recently, and one guy was telling people the first is supposed to be boring! NO! You do not deserves the delirious sequel if you can’t appreciate the comfort and charm of the first.

Yeah, I saw your comment about Southland Tales, and like… yes it is exceptionally bad now, lot more awful things going through… but the discourse during the Bush years, even as a kid, was so insane. The Islamophobia and racism was off the charts. This stuff didn’t just suddenly appear.

1000% still expecting Seth Rogan-ish skins in this one, I feel like they just aren’t going to do cartoon/cell-shaded ones anymore. Make it look like they’re compromising, but not addressing the actual issue. Personally I’m fine with the goofy stuff, so I’m annoyed by this move.

The thing about the Borderlands 2 writing is that, at the end of the day, I remember the beats of it better than 90% of games. May have issues with jokes, but it tells about a good a story as a goofy shooter can.

Yeah I can’t tell if it’s my OCD or something else, but this probably makes up 1/3 of my searches.

I was gonna ask how far you were, and yeah, there’s some rly great level designs later on…. But rly I think the only ones someone who would love the game might struggle on are the first 3 layers. Would love to hear you end up feeling differently, but I think it’s just a no go.
