Oh, man... THE EXORCIST and THE FRENCH CONNECTION are stone cold classics, but I also really love TO LIVE AND DIE IN LA, SORCERER and BUG. He tweeted favorably about HUSH when it first came out and that just about knocked the wind out of me. He was a visionary, bold filmmaker. Rest in peace

Very much enjoyed OPPENHEIMER. Seeing it in IMAX added something to the experience I wasn't quite ready for, which was a kind of "aspect-ratio chaos". Like being in a racecar where the driver keeps shifting gears every few seconds. Cillian Murphy is phenomenal though.
