If it makes them feel any better, I’ve had it happen to me too. Things like “proper subs are shaved” “oh it’s a shame you’re so hairy”.

It’s taken me a very long time to be ok with my body hair and I won’t shave for anyone now.

Sorry they have had it too, they deserve better.
