Every Tuesday a bus pulls up and my dog hops on for an afternoon field trip with her bark bus pals. They romp off leash in the woods for a couple hrs and then the bus drops her back off. It’s a terrific arrangement and she is obsessed

Oh gosh yes! My first little mug next to a more recent one. My whole family lovingly used my first pieces when I made them. They barely held 8oz because the walls were so thick lol

Carving up the fur on a new mask. Students keep asking me about it. Like, I don’t know, it’s just a weird creature! The idea came from my mind. I just felt like making it. Yes, of course I am hanging this in my house!

The country is falling apart and I’m having a hard time making anything. Anyway, here’s an idea I’m playing with. I ran a tool up the finished form to create an undulating line, then bellied out the spaces in between the lines.

Yarrow mugs. A favorite little wildflower, but I really learned about its power when I had a series of illnesses and someone recommended taking yarrow. Now I always keep some on hand. Makes me feel safe knowing that there’s this little plant I can rely on

Playing around around with natural forms and textures. When I made these I was thinking loosely of beetle carapaces but the customer who purchased them did so because they reminded her of the early emergence of skunk cabbage in late winter

My 24 yo gal is definitely becoming one of those old ladies who does whatever tf she wants. And hello to baby bucks from stiff hocks! That’s been exciting. I have a soft spot for deranged off the hook hot horses. They make us better riders and they are more exciting anyway
