Almost 10 years ago I did some videos where I used genetic algorithms to recreate an image using only circles, and I got curious what a web version would look like.

Here's the result running in real-time on the exact same 9-year old computer.

Sometimes I feel like effort isn't enough to get good at something.

You can try pouring time and time into something, but if you're not actively learning from it then you'll take a lot longer to learn it. My biggest gripe with schools is that they just give you a presentation and some homework (..)

I stacked all the generic plushies I could find at the office #gamedev

Youtube just banned a link for crediting the music I used.

Presumably because it's called breaking copyright and some LLM thought that it promotes illegal activity.

Been messing around with Demon Bluff the past 3 days, so far I've made a mod to let you change the card art to whatever you want, a mod that adds more tags/labels, and a program that can solve the game based on the card statements.

Really fun game, much recommended :) #demonbluff

I know prettying unity's node graphs is a fool's errand, and I know having the up and down arrows hook to different points makes a lot of sense, but it still feels very wrong

I'm visiting Japan and I just randomly met another game developer in a cafe (He had a GDC sticker on his laptop). Turns out he knows multiple Norwegian developers, this is such a small world it's crazy.

It's fun to install/update large steam games, because steam uses 100% of my CPU to do so, which causes my computer to black out multiple times during the process and halts anything else I'm doing.

Listening to music creates a really fun distortion & glitch effect, and videos skip back and forth.

Just saw somebody use AI art for their steam thumbnail, and the same art just stretched to fit the different resolution everywhere else on their steam-page...

Do people not notice how bad that looks? Do they seriously think people will see that among other games and feel like playing it?

Just overheard somebody telling their children he thought he was at the wrong stop, so I pointed him in the right direction.

Then he managed to walk two completely different directions instead, before one of his kids heard me yelling and they finally found the street I pointed towards.
