She/her. Reader, Green, grower (of veg), big fan of the history of ordinary folks, good photos, goats and other animals, going to new places.
Transferred my rhubarb wine to a demijohn on Wednesday, but appropriately enough for Halloween, it’s still bubbling away like a witch’s brew! 🧪

I’ve had this picture saved on my photo since a demo I was on in around 2018. As relevant now as it was then! 😄

Finished reading this today. Feels very pertinent to the current political climate and will stay with me for a good long time. The grim humour chimed well with me too - I loved this book.

Been watching a young blackbird enjoying an apple during my lunch break. Judging by the gusto with which he’s been pecking it, it’s absolutely delicious!

I cast my vote for @zackpolanski.bsky.social on Friday because I couldn’t wait! Zack’s an amazing communicator and I think under his leadership, the Green Party will be able to spread its message that things don’t have to be the way they are to all who need to hear it. Good luck, Zack 🤞💚

Reading this very slowly, as it’s so good I know I’m going to be sad when I’ve finished it.

Our garden is a bit like The Lost World at the moment, and I absolutely love it.

Had a fantastic afternoon at the @nationaltrust.org.uk back-to-backs in Birmingham today. A fascinating place, which leads you to consider the difficulties in just finding an affordable, decent place to live which, for all too many, have not gone away.

Our wisteria is really lovely this year, and the bees are loving it. 🥰

Big fan of this one. It should include ‘lobbying on behalf of’ too.

Revisiting the very excellent ‘People’s Manifesto’ by @markthomasinfo.bsky.social for a bit of relief from, er, everything this morning.

Hello @tomcollinsworcs.bsky.social Please will you attend the 2nd reading of the Climate and Nature Bill this Friday? As one of your constituents I’ve emailed about this too and it really concerns me that you’re currently not recorded as due to attend to support it. Thank you.

What could be more orange cat than him being keen to come and sit on me while I’m wearing my smart (ish) black work trousers? 🤦

Bottling day for the fermented ginger beer. It’s not bad. Very gingery!

The home-made fermented ginger beer. Just lost its syrupy-ness and is a cheeky little number, so about ready to drink I think. 😊

Wasn’t expecting this! Going to be cracking out the Big Coat today. ❄️

I’ve been making a fermented starter for ginger beer. I hope the end product tastes nicer than this looks!
