Fascinated to watch bluesky grow. Every couple of days, I go refresh https://bsky.jazco.dev/ just to look at the map. Today I discovered there's a musician and/or wrestling subcluster.... Part of it is just about who's here, but the labels are almost just as interesting.

I believe it’s an a16z-ism, the real term escapes me; one of those dumb contractions where they take the first and last letter of something and then stick the middle letter count in between.
Like kubernetes -> k8s. Legit thought it was “Kates” for the longest time.
