Where do I sign up for these 'paid protester' jobs the GOP is so fond of talking about? Curious Democrats want to know.

If you haven't seen "Flow," see it now. I knew nothing about it, didn't really care, but as soon as it started, I couldn't take my eyes away from the screen. The artistry there is mixed: great character design and movement (!!!), but textural details are obviously digital.

9/10 highly selassie!

RIP Gene Hackman. My favorite actor, nothing short of brilliant. Seen a lot of "best Gene Hackman movies" lists, but one of my personal favorites didn't make anyone else's list: "Heist." Fantastic film, not to be missed. I'll be watching The French Connection and Heist, this weekend.

Money in politics is the problem. The only question, as far as I'm concerned, is how to get it out. Money in politics is corruption waiting to happen.

Don't despair. We don't see the people in government who are actually working for us, because their work isn't as interesting as the destruction.

Senate Democrats are considering voting NO or delaying every Trump nominee as retaliation for his overreach on ending USAID.

Smash the RT if you SUPPORT this plan. ZERO votes from Democrats!!

Continuing the streak of hilarious “bad” comic book movies, today’s feature is Hudson Hawk. So quotable!

Watching Buckaroo Bonzai Across the Eighth Dimension again. This is my idea of a good comic book movie. Stupid funny. I’m not proud. 🤣

Make no mistake: Trump’s first week was a catastrophe for many vulnerable people. But the biggest story was his startling initial moves from democracy to oligarchy.

My hope lies in Americans noticing this. robertreich.substack.com/p/trumps-fir...

Trying to post a whine about how no one can spell Fleming here without two 'M's. It's Fleming, people. Like Alexander (of penicillin fame), or Ian (of 007 fame), or Renee (of opera fame), or Peggy (olympic ice skate champion). No one seems to be able to get it right 😂
