Rest in peace, Prof. My condolences to your family and MPL.
With deep sadness, we share that Prof. Jochen Guck, Director at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light passed away on October 3. His visionary work bridged physics and medicine. We have lost a brilliant scientist and dear friend.

I was impressed with the graphical abstracts they managed to create in just 45 minutes.
I’m so proud and humbled by this experience.
The participants of our school have designed a number of graphical abstracts, with just a few glimpses shown here. A creative journey for researchers and future scholars to broaden their skills, discover new ways to visualise their work, and make it more visible and accessible.
