Which is to say, if someone brings up in conversation that their paycheck is short or whatever, and your first instinct is to think of them as crass for airing their laundry and/or conclude they must be irresponsible with money, you might want to unpack why you're a simp for capitalists.

The community you need is on the other side of shame. Shame and cynicism are forms of obedience.
