Sweaty, covered in dirt, tired, and super happy. I took my unit down a couple inches (really tough soil), then meeting it all up. Then I went to the lab for a little bit and cleaned samples. A nice fulfilling day

I'm going to look today. I'm wondering how many other folks wear makeup to the archeology site. I hadn't really paid attention over the last couple years.
I just put on a little good sticking waterproof eyeliner, and a little brow darkener, but nothing else. hadn't really thought about it lol

I don't do archeology professionally though I am a trained archaeologist. I do volunteer work at archeology sites that need it, which makes me happy 🥰

According to the SAA, I already exceed the minimum requirements. Bachelor's degree, 30+ cr hrs in Archaeology/anthro, field school, and dozens of hours of practical time in the lab and in the field
But, somehow, it feels odd...

2. Humanity losing its night sky. This also affects animals
3. Heat removal in space is a massive problem because of the vacuum.
Honestly, imo, we really need to be working on reparing what's left of our planet, first.

I went for a nature hike yesterday. It was such a gorgeous day and it made me feel really wonderful. ☺️ I think getting out nature is important. I just wish it were warmer lol🍁🍂

I wish I could find a good psychiatrist for my ADHD meds. Like every time I get one they're always really terrible. My current one got hostile with me again. I think they do it because they know they have power over you. That's my current guess

My new horse bow just arrived!
It's for LARP, so I didn't buy an expensive one. It also has a very low draw weight for the same reason. Only 30 lb. Still, horse bows are pretty. 👩🏹

Week of nov 10th I am in the field doing archaelogy. The next week I may do some lab work.
Project I was helping on is finally finishing with great results. My contribution was like not even 1% lol but I'm happy to have helped.
But I'm hoping the field work will be even more fun.
