Yesterday, I suddenly lost my son, Cabbage. Not fully sure yet what caused it, but will get results back Friday. He was in perfect health down to his pearly whites.

I'm sorry, I gave two boys some soup. I made this Italian Wedding Soup entirely from scratch on Saturday because my best friend who is also a chef was visiting with his son and I had to flex, now he is replacing his own recipe with mine lol

I made dragonfruit sauce for sushi that I am VERY pleased with. Since dragonfruit is very pretty but equally delicate in flavor, I added some mango to give it more punch

He did really well moving to another state the other night! He spent most of the time sleepin, especially on my arm (I was in passenger seat for his sake). I let him out of his carrier because he doesn't wanna go too far from me, even in car. Also has done well in new house!

Look at my absolute drop-dead gorgeous new chef knife. 9.5" Kurouchi-finished stainless-clad blue steel kiritsuke gyuto. Let's me do everything I need for sushi with a single knife, not to mention how good it is for regular meats and veg.
