yeah I remember my first time on the internet

after they train it on teams chats it will begin saying things like "huhuh youd know that if youd read the documentation (laugh emoji)"

and also national security secrets and legally actionable directives from management

like, im not ashamed on a personal level of asking for help but i do have an inclination i'd be "wasting someones time" to ask something i believe must be simple

i think this is really where the money is. as a coping device to avoid admitting one is not a selfsufficient atom

in this way i think the primary value of the llm is smoothing over shame/guilt/embarrassment feelings one might otherwise be expected to feel upon asking for help with understanding or accomplishing something

obviously management loves this the most

yea reasonably good at turning out dumb little snippets of well-trod code and smoothing over shit like "fuck how does this work in pandas vs spark dataframes again"
