There is no right and left, no more of this 2 wings same bird bullshit. There is the top 1% and the rest of us. MAGA is supporting the oligarchs. Progressives are trying to fight back. Enough of pandering to the moderates for their votes and their lukewarm support. Pick a side and fight like hell.

Trumps tariff wars with China are giving third person in a teenage love triangle vibes.

Life feels like Thomas Hobbes and Hitler had a baby, and now we have to freaking entertain it while it craps all over our house.

I keep thinking of all the people who didn’t vote because they thought the two-party system wasn’t good enough. I’m wondering what they think of the one party system we have now.

This thought popped in my head this morning: every. single. person on the planet is 100% less safe than they were three weeks ago.

Yeah, even the ones who think their resources and identity will protect them. Every. Single. One.

It's wild.

There’s no grand plan for Trump. This is cruelty for cruelties sake. He wants people to fear him, since he equates fear with respect.

His and Musks unresolved daddy issues are so deeply sedimented that they approach the world with a viciousness that can’t be course corrected or contained by law.

7 democrats helped confirm the nomination of a climate denying fracking executive as energy secretary.

There is no point in asking ‘where are the democrats?’ Because some of them are busy lining their own pockets.

This (sorta') slowly unfolding coup is really stressful.

Colonialism instilled such self-loathing in brown people that people like Gabbard, Patel, and Ramaswamy are happy to be the Gunga Dins of this generation.

Kash Patel lied under oath because he knew there would be no consequences. He knew that he could lie with impunity. When the full impact of Patel and Gabbard are felt, there will be an outmigration from the United States — brain drain unlike anything this country has ever seen.

Caroline Kennedy’s letter is another example that democrats are unwilling or unable to process that the playbook has changed. They are still appealing to rationality and a moral compass that no longer exists, as if we don’t have a dictator who literally deciding who gets to live and who must die.

Many parallels are being drawn with Nazi Germany right now, as if that is the nadir of human evil. I worry this blinds us to the many signals that our current trajectory will take us someplace far worse still — potentially underestimating dangers by orders of magnitude.

1/Hearing a lot of people talk about tariffs and "what it will mean." It's likely to mean nothing.
1) Lots of other terrible chaos happening; no time for tariffs.
2) "Tariffs" were a campaign dogwhistle to people who want to eliminate the income tax.
Focus on the fascism.
