Honestly, newspapers, you can't keep doing this. There are 18 words of the story I came to read on this entire (wide) screen.

Editing like this makes me so angry. In the newsletter, it's a point blank affirmation. In the headline, it's actually in quotes. In the lede, it's a statement from a government minister. Read on... and there is zero evidence put forth in the article.

A lot of libraries only purchase recent scholarship in e-book format. I don't mind it, except interlibrary loans and guest access to other universities do not apply to digital formats. It makes access so much more challenging. 30 libraries have this book I need, only 4 in print.

Eurostar terminals at Gare du Nord and St Pancras are extremely undersized but they’re also full of very dumb UX decisions that make the experience all the worse. Found a new one just now.

The way this is worded… There is no loophole to applying for asylum. Every human being is entitled to it. If your claim for asylum is invalid, it will be rejected. If you’re on a student visa and you don’t engage with the course, your visa will be canceled. Just fund the existing systems properly.

I seem to have missed Adopt a Shelter Pet Day. Oh well… Anna, born on the streets, longest stayer at the shelter (7 months! as a kitten!) No one wanted her bc of a totally manageable chronic illness (when she takes her damn pills). She melted my heart the minute I saw her online. #AdoptDontShop
