All the Republicans out there who claimed tariffs aren’t taxes and they won’t be passed on to the consumer, please explain how THIS doesn’t get passed on to the consumer and won’t result in higher prices aka inflation.

Is this the modern equivalent of "let them eat cake?" He's taking a sledgehammer to a robust economy, firing tens of thousands for the rich to take an extended tax break, planning to cut Medicaid, and SNAP, and hosting a party at Mar-a-Lago featuring a $445,000 handbag.

PSA: A leader taking $5 million for a dinner is NOT a healthy democracy. That's what we call CORRUPTION. If he hadn't fired all the people who might look into that, he might get caught. But he owns the AG, the FBI, and apparently the GOP, so that's where we are now. Corrupt authoritarian government.
