Teacher. Music fan (CD, vinyl). Politics (left leaning/re-joiner/anti-Tory, anti-Farage, anti-Trump). Taking a second chance to make a first impression.
Actually, maybe the Clarkson one was worse. But that was v early days and knocking on three years ago now. I would have hoped you'd have got the hang of it a bit more by now

By some distance the worst episode of the pod I've heard. Disgraceful interview of Torsten Bell, he was barely allowed a word without you personally Lewis constantly interrupting and hectoring. You ask great questions, but you didn't let him speak. He must have really pissed you off before recording

It was by some distance the worst interview I've ever heard on that programme. Lewis in particular - who I have a hell of a lot of time for - was unbearable

It's mostly a really great album. People don't know what they've got.

Yes, I immediately thought of Pills from XTRMNTR as a great example of his fine work. Not very radio friendly though.

Begging You is a superb instrumental lacking a song, so makes this case beautifully. Tightrope is also one I like very much.

Brilliant piece as usual, and my respect probably increased tenfold by this exchange. Good work. 👏👏

Pundit critics: “We need to disrupt orthodoxies!”

BBC (just occasionally) runs some daring coverage

Same critics: “no, not my orthodoxies!”
