Mine haven't seen the best time, though I am surprised how well the paint held up. Especially as I never used primer back then!
The total assessment of my warhammer collection before jumping back in to the hobby during 9th edition Four chaos marines from 3rd edtion. 3 painted up as Khorne beserkers and one painted up as a Iron Warrior. And Iron Warriors rhino, with an attempt at it being covered in blood.

The Warsmith is ready for painting!
To help with the centre of gravity issue from the metal bits I've added several steel nuts on to the base and covered them up to look like a elevated base.

Custom kitbashed Iron Warriors Warsmith. Built from the 30k Preator, and the right arm and backpack servo arm are both from the old 3rd edtion metal Warsmith. The model is placed on a elevated base. The base from the previous image showing that under the Milliput are 7 steel nuts glued to the base, to act as weights to keep the centre of gravity low.

Finally getting started on the Warsmith Preator for 30k army. Being able to use some bits from the old metal Warsmith from back in 3rd edtion makes it feel more authentic.
(Don't mind the backpack, I'm going to use a different one I'm waiting on to arive in the mail)
