When Adorno (and Horkeimer, too) arrived in the US it is fair to say they were alarmed by the level of propagandisation the American people experienced. This while they had come from Nazi Germany as exiles. Seriously gotten much more for all of us, and we see the spoils. Time to get it.

We spend so much time as those they perceive to be outposts, and believe their ideology so much, that we are as surprised as they are when is crumbles. Difference is, we fifth for what we believe, and only some of them seem to do. Don't know what to say except I expected better
