Fuck! Idk what to do. Debt is mounting up and the money I was supposed to finally get this month, after waiting over a year for it, isn't coming because we need the paperwork to go through the IRS, and guess what we're in the middle of? So yeah, it's essentially being held hostage. #FuckTheShutdown

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email
