and today: grey and a bit drizzly, low tide, freezing cold, not an inviting swim whatsoever. but we were in exmouth and couldn’t not go in, so we gave it a shot expecting to get up to our shins and no further, but it ended up being beautiful and liberating. then a handsome american took our picture

from 5/11: went to exmouth and had a little van evening while the wife did the sauna, including a short but nice dip in some decent sized waves. temperature felt super easy and comfortable and we could occasionally see fireworks across the bay

from 9/10: lovely night in a totally empty campsite before walking the staverton circular, including a very cold dip along the way. clean, deep and slow, absolutely perfect skinny dip conditions 😈

it’s stew season babey ignore the weird looking dumplings i had to blend some oats and use them as flour bc i ran out!!!!

from thursday: really peaceful camp on dartmoor; we’d intended to spend the day down at the river but the campsite was so casual we stayed half the day, so we ended up just having a fairly brief skinny dip in the river before heading home

little buoy 2 swim and some time in the van by the beach, not particularly peaceful bc there was a huge group of Rugby Chaps obviously desperate for people to look at them and be amazed or whatever but the sea was lovely and the sky on the way home was gorgeous

little trip to the river for the first time this year and it was completely deserted. we got to have an easy little swim in complete silence, then sat on the bank in the lovely evening light (yes i know the bald spot is bad i hadn’t shaved my head in two weeks!!!!!!!!)
