It’s both! It is a semi-rural area and the little focus that is put on cycling infrastructure is for weekend cyclists in tight neon uniforms. The idea of cycling as a means of transportation is waaay beyond their comprehension.

I was hoping that a standardized job posting was the case for this too but nope. The coordinator needs a car in order to bring posters, handouts, swag, etc (i.e., landfill feed) to meetings that are “too cumbersome for the county shuttle or bike”. This org truly has no idea what sustainability is.

My county “sustainability” org has a paid position for a coordinator to educate residents about non-car transportation options but one of the hiring requirements is that you must have a car 🤦‍♀️

Ironically, they seem to be the types who resisted/refused to wear masks during Covid

It’s the Trumpian behavior of Biden that is controversial, not the pardon itself. My question to Kevin was genuine and related to his statement. It was not a silly deflection.

I don’t know but the likelihood of Trump’s plans for revenge was certainly known whilst Biden and his admin were repeatedly stating that he would not pardon his son.

But previous statements make it controversial (which was the crux of Kevin’s point to which I was replying). I am not making a statement as to whether it was justified or not. Bye.

Did any of those other presidents repeatedly state that they would not grant those pardons and then do so anyway?
