The point I am making, I suppose, is that if you have critiques of radical feminism you should make them. Based on the things radical feminists have actually theorised and your critiques of that. Rather than because you see transphobes described as TERFs and make assumptions about radfem from that.

At the risk of getting cancelled, I do find flatly writing off the entirety of "radical feminism" based on how it has been misused by GCs to be essentially as juvenile as decrying the whole concept of "communism" by pointing to the Soviet Union.

Yes but it's important to emphasize that this isn't a "flaw" in neoliberalism it's the *point* of neoliberalism. It isn't meant to create an economy which benefits everyone. Up until 1980 or so we were making steady improvement (though far from perfect) and then things fell off a cliff *by design*
My point isn't that Black people are or were downtrodden. The point is that so long as poor or marginalized people exist, so long as an economy provides unequal opportunities or leaves people behind, that economy fucking sucks.

I've struggled so much with this and in the end I don't know if it even matters. There's so much about "biology" we can change now. If you need to cling to chromosomes or fucking gametes produced to establish your D&D alignment system it's such a myopic viewpoint.Better to just let people be.
Sex as a category is just as much a social construction as gender. We group similarities together & call them a binary, as if that’s the only “natural” categorization. But I’m no more female than I am a woman—even physically, that descriptor is more meaningless the farther into my transition I go.
The sex/gender split has done far more damage than help to our cause, imo, so it doesn’t really surprise me that its author was like this.
I’ve argued with “allies” that they can’t call me a man but not accept that I’m male, & they always cissplain sex v gender at me.
