First full day. Got Julip safely. Found local grocery store, "discovered" Church's Chicken has a "Mexican Deep Dish" which is a bowl of mashed potatoes topped with nacho toppings and fried chicken and it's a hit.

Yesterday we literally escaped imminent fascism in a blizzard like VonTraps. I hope they made it safely to warmer places too.
