Our leaders must decide who they put first - Australians or Trump
Trump's bombing of Iran and our government's response shows rules only matter when America says they matter and Australia falls into line.

"This appears to be another instance of Palestinian voices being silenced.”

So:
- Who directed that Mashni's interview be deleted, and why?
- Is ABC censoring views critical of Israel?
- has 'Lawyers for Israel' or other Zionist lobbies, pressured the ABC Chair?

#Auspol Spread the word Australia if Canada can drop to 70% we can. Talk to family and friends about all the innocent tourists locked up by America for weeks etc
Canadian air travel to the U.S. drops 70% as tourists favor Europe amid tariff talks. Air Canada flights see reduced bookings, reflecting shifting travel preferences. Economic factors and policy discussions likely driving the trend, impacting North American tourism.

Peter Dutton is divisive, belligerent, and damaging to our social cohesion. He foments fear and division for votes. This is not leadership it is weakness and a poor substitute for actual policies. Don't risk Dutton #auspol www.theage.com.au/politics/fed...
How Peter Dutton got it wrong on the caravan – and why voters need to know it
Dutton went harder than both Anthony Albanese or Chris Minns on the caravan because he had a political objective.

ABC: “That year the High Court would also allow for the indefinite detention of non-citizens who could not be deported (Howard era) in a decision that would stand until November 2023, when the High Court found the practice to be unlawful (Labor).”

So we avoided a recession. Not because of Labor’s highly effective spending (as opposed to the NZ conservative government cuts), but (wait for it) because of RBA policy. Yep, he said that. Is it a sackable offence to say anything positive about the current government.

How about, right, how about we try writing long term policy that serves the interests of the people and plan long term reform of our systems to ensure they remain fair and relevant?

An absolute furphy, credulously trotted out breathlessly by all sections of the media without any qualification. Lazy, shallow journalism.
Like Trump, Dutton knows he can tell outrageous lies with impunity bc the Australian mainstream news media (incl. the ABC) will simply repeat the lies as "OL Peter Dutton says ..." It is demonstrably false to claim the Coalition are better at economic mgmt than Labor. 😠 #auspol
