It’s 4am and I’ve just tucked myself into bed in my (rough) motel. Tonight I had a lovely show in Louisianna. Then drove 6.5 hours (431 miles). I’m burnt out. I feel undercompensated. It’s a hard and exhausting job being a woman touring in the US alone.

It’s 4am and I’ve just tucked myself into bed in my (rough) motel. Tonight I had a lovely show in Louisianna. Then drove 6.5 hours (431 miles). I’m burnt out. I feel undercompensated. It’s a hard and exhausting job being a woman touring in the US alone.
A very different venue for me this morning at Pioneer Farms in Austin TX, singing in the Kirk that Elvis himself sung in!
