Why publicly humiliating dictators is important:
1) Most dictators are fragile narcissists. That's a weak point in dictatorships.
2) The larger goal is to get all of his supporters to say, "This guy is a loser and a buffoon. Nope, not going to do this anymore." And then stop supporting him.
