fightcade did a lot of things wrong but i'm glad their "ranked" system is just a Letter and you can't get any more information on your elo/how to rank up (to my knowledge), so i use it for tournament practice rather than caring about my rank at all
and my fav game doesnt even have ranked

the idea that 3s is the greatest fighting game ever made hurts new players a lot i think
some amount of that sentiment is coming from people that really do love 3s, probably a good amount of it is coming from the more casual audience though
